We support all people impacted by lung cancer through virtual networking events, live gatherings, “ask us anything” support HelpLine, easy-to-understand educational materials, and peer-to-peer support programs.

We conduct lifesaving research through our innovative studies and Lung Cancer Registry that explores all phases of lung cancer including early detection, treatment, and survivorship.

Advocacy and Policy
We are the voice of the lung cancer community. We educate lawmakers on health disparities, help change policies to increase access to high-quality, affordable care and increase federal research funding to improve outcomes and cure this disease. GO2 for Lung Cancer was the first organization dedicated to transforming lung cancer survival. For almost 3 decades, we’ve grown from grassroots into a national and global movement committed to:
Increasing the rates of lung cancer diagnosed early, with support from our Centers of Excellence network.
Increasing the rate of comprehensive biomarker testing and precision medicine for all people facing lung cancer through our patient navigation, education and support services and access to excellence in care in community settings.
Increasing the reach and impact of community engagement so that anyone impacted by lung cancer knows we are the go-to place for one-on-one assistance, research, finding the best care close to home and opportunities to raise awareness to shift this disease from one of stigma to one of hope.
Improving quality of life for all people diagnosed as our community lives longer.
Raising $16M annually from generous, individual gifts, grants, event participation, and fundraisers. Without this vital revenue, conducting lifesaving research, offering free patient services, and continuing advocacy efforts would not be possible.

Our story
GO2 for Lung Cancer was built by people who refused to accept the status quo—and who believed that everyone facing lung cancer deserves support, respect, and hope. Our organization grew from decades of patient-led advocacy, innovation, and care.
