Phone Buddy program

The Phone Buddy program matches you with a lung cancer survivor who has walked in your shoes and wants to give back. As a result, they are uniquely qualified to lend support, offer information, and share their own experience to help you along your lung cancer path.

Lung cancer support groups

Lung cancer support groups offer a welcoming space for you to share your unique story and receive comfort and wisdom from others impacted by the disease.

Support groups are available for people living with lung cancer and their caregivers, family, and friends.

We started the Lung Cancer Support Group Network after research found that our community prefers to attend lung cancer-specific support groups. Our network is a resource that can help you find a lung cancer-specific support group or start your own.

Gathering HOPE Community Social

Gathering HOPE is a casual virtual group where you can connect with others and find hope, friendship, and support. This group is open to anyone who has been diagnosed with lung cancer or is caring for someone with lung cancer. Lung cancer forums

We host a strong lung cancer support community on HealthUnlocked, the world’s largest social network for health. You can join our lung cancer forums from home in just minutes—and start posting or browsing through topics right away. Unlike traditional support groups, you can chat with others, ask a question, reply to a thread, start a new discussion topic, or simply read and learn from others at any time.

We currently host 2 forums on HealthUnlocked. Join our general lung cancer forum or our small cell lung cancer forum (SCLC) to ask about treatment options, side effects, second opinions—whatever is on your mind! You can also share your story, and/or give advice to someone looking for hope or answers. Both the general lung cancer and the SCLC online communities offer information on upcoming expert speaker events, support group meetings, lung cancer updates, and community happenings.
