Lung cancer support groups offer the lung cancer community the chance to connect with others who share similar hopes, fears, questions, and experiences. While some support groups are just for people living with lung cancer, most welcome spouses, partners, family, and friends.
Anyone affected by lung cancer can benefit from joining a support group. A support group can give you the opportunity to form genuine and lasting connections, ask questions in real time, gain emotional support, and share your story with people who can understand what you are going through.
GO2's Lung Cancer Support Group Network is a resource that can help you:
- Find lung cancer-specific support groups
- Start your own lung cancer support group
GO2 formed the Lung Cancer Support Group Network because research found our community prefers to attend lung cancer-specific groups. The network allows us to track lung cancer support groups and provide you with options.
If you would like to start your own lung cancer support group, we can help with that, too. We can help guide you to make sure your group starts off right.
